Party Down > Study Chemistry

The point of today is that you sure as hell better not procrastinate in college.

Although I've discovered that I'll never need to look at another chemistry or calculus book again, it gets to be a little nerve wracking when you have an exam on something you haven't been paying attention to for half of the semester. I won't get into detail about how giving up on calculus and chemistry (half of my course load) may affect my already astonishingly low grade-point average, which may in turn net me some good old academic probation for a year - but hey, let's talk about the grammar exam's ass I kicked this morning.

There I was, dressed in the exact outfit I had worn the previous day - light-blue button down and my signature brown coat whose material I am completely unaware of. I remember it like it was this morning - 9:26 a.m., nearly barren classroom, and my trusty high-school bitch at my side (I volunteer for this thing where I drag around a high-school kid for twenty-four hours to show him the campus). Hope he doesn't read this, he was definitely the opposite of a bitch. Anyway, I had no idea that he was timing me on this thing, but I finished in eighteen minutes. We had an hour to complete it, and the proctor claimed that it would take thirty five minutes at least. Now understand that there's nothing wrong with finding any little thing to give you a confidence boost; I finished that bitch first! Granted there were only two other dudes taking this thing, but that's definitely one of the first times that I felt superior to the nerds that go to this school.

Hopefully that's a sign that this new major is going to work out much better than the one I started out with, but I guess I'm completely straying from what I titled this post...

I do not want to study for this exam, which I will most likely fail, so instead I'm watching Party Down. It's probably one of the greatest shows ever and nobody knows about it. It stars Adam Scott and I love every character on the show; too bad it only lasted two seasons. Check it out if you have some time.

My roommate and his girlfriend just stepped into the room and the annoying laughter and crude jokes have begun, so I think I'll end this post. I'll tell you guys all about these guys in my next post, either tonight or tomorrow, and I'll put it down here so I don't forget to bitch about it tomorrow - that blonde fuck stepped on my bed this morning with his shoes on and didn't think anything of it.

I'll let you know how that exam went as well. God I truly hate his girlfriend's giggle...Adios for now.
